Ha ha ha ha ha. Wow. Today I tried hot rollers for the first time in. my. life.
With the rollers in I looked like a teenage Mrs. Ziffel from Green Acres.
They were superbly easy, and it was the best cross between
a curling iron and foam rollers you sleep in.
Just to make a point, if you have frizzy hair, don't buy foam rollers.
You'll know why if you try them.
I almost uploaded the photo of me in the hot rollers,
but it was a little to horrendous.
But the end result was way way worth it. ♥
Today was "pick up the bedroom" day, and as always
its refreshing. I turned on some music, and then looked closely at my iHome.
It says it's 12:00 p.m. on January the 1st. Riiiiiggghhhtt....
The Sis and I went to pick up milk today, and Bingley came along for the ride.
He sat in my lap the whole entire way...
And then I came home and practiced voice and harp and chased Pearle out of the chicken coop.
Not much else happened except the usual eating and cleaning. Oh yeah, I de-boned a cooked chicken at 7:45 a.m.
That's about it.
I need to start taking more photos with my camera. It's easy to get lazy and just pick up the iTouch. So...that's just ONE of my New Year's resolutions. I like to dream big. :-)
I read a couple really neat verses in Proverbs a couple days ago:
Proverbs 16:1-3
1 The preparations of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.
2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
But the LORD weighs the spirits.
3 Commit your works to the LORD,
And your thoughts will be established.
But the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.
2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
But the LORD weighs the spirits.
3 Commit your works to the LORD,
And your thoughts will be established.
